Shawn is back with a series of shows around the Atlanta area. Most notably, he will make his 5th straight appearance at the annual Open Mic Madness competition at Smith's Olde Bar, the single coolest local music event in Atlanta. Shawn's first slot is Tuesday, August 22nd during the 9 o'clock hour. This event is jam packed with a big stage, a big crowd, and the top acts in Atlanta. Come out and be a part of it. (21+)

CD RELEASE PARTY!!!... We are pleased to announce that on Saturday, April 29th Shawn will release his very first, fully produced, full band cd entitled Southern Sky!!! The CD has been in the making for over a year, as Shawn recruited various musicians and producers to assist in recording the album. "This is sort of a culmination of all that I've done over the past few years, and where it has finally brought me," said Shawn. "In a way, I feel like my whole career playing music has brought me to this one defining moment: releasing this cd!"
In celebration of the new cd, there will be a CD RELEASE PARTY held that night! On Saturday, April 29th at 7:30pm, a special show will be held at Grace Fellowship Church's youth center in Snellville, GA. Everyone is welcome! Admission is free and CDs will be on sale. Shawn (and special guests) will perform all of the songs off the new album and many more. Don't miss this big show! Directions here.
A myriad of special guests appear on the new album, Southern Sky, lending their musical talents to the project. The cd features Matthew Bivins of Jump, Little Children on harmonica! Local Atlanta musicians Michael Levine and Ryan McDougall both appear on the cd, as well as long-time friend Paul Hedges on the drums. Tsunami relief show... A quick update on an upcoming show!
Shawn will be performing at a Tsunami relief show on Friday, February 18th at Mountain Park Methodist Church in Lilburn, GA. The benifit show will feature many local acts such as Stay The Providence.

This is a new open mic competition in the Atlanta area, and everyone should come out to play and/or listen (There is a cash prize for winners, for those of you who are poor musicians). The evening's events begin at 8:30pm and there is a nominal cover charge. See y'all 'round.

Studio... Shawn is currently in the studio working on some songs for his first full-production demo. Working with Shawn on the project are producer, Ryan McDougall, and local bassist, Jairaj Swann. The recording process is slow, however, within a few months you'll be able to hear Shawn with a full band. We'll try and get some recording pictures to post up soon.
Also, Open Mic Madness next week at Smith's. Shawn is at 8:35pm on Tuesday (August 17th). 21 and over.

Video/Mp3 downloads... Check out the Music section for a new video download of two songs from a performance at Eddie's Attic on March 1st, 2004.
Also, 2 new mp3s are up for download in the Music section. "One For Your Eyes" was recorded in the studio back in the fall of 2002, and is just now being heard. "Sorry" was recorded live at the Sycamore Coffee House on December 21st, 2002 with special guest Sam Deeds on guitar. Get them quick, because they may not be up for long.

New show added... This just in, Shawn will be playing at 106 West in Winder, GA on Saturday, February 7th at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8:00pm and the cost is $5. Shawn will be supporting the Justin Reynolds Band, who will take the stage later that night. Come out and support if you have the time.

Shawn on your TV screen!... On Monday, February 24th Shawn will be performing a special show at the Redlight Cafe in Atlanta. The show is being filmed for a new television show called "Acoutically Speaking." Shawn will be performing in a spotlight showcase with many other Atlanta musicians.
